We wanted to reach out to you our guests, to assure you that you will be staying in a lawful accommodation. There is so much in the news about the crack down on Airbnb's and vacation rentals that can lead to confusion and uncertainty when planning a holiday.
The Love Shack B&B is a self-contained cabin that shares this gorgeous waterfront property with our own home of more than 40 years.
It conforms to Salt Spring Island bylaws as a homebased business.
Bed and Breakfast
This memorable song by the "B-52's" is the source of the name for this cozy, romantic boîte d'amour.

The suspended deck contains a two person soaker tub. The Love Shack cottage has a private fenced yard with its own access to the beach. There is also an outdoor fire pit when campfires are permitted.
There is a cozy kitchen for the preparation of a breakfast meal. We provide coffee and tea, fresh fruit bowl, spices, olive oil and balsamic vinegar... the rest is up to you 😊.

Inside, a super comfortable double bed looks to the ocean view and the fireplace wood-stove. The bathroom has a shower – the tub is on the deck!

This shagadelic, romantic getaway was built in the 1960’s by the original owner W.E.Taylor hence the thematic vibe and so it is equipped with a stereo and yes, a record player... the place IS groovy. There is WIFI too should you need to stay connected.
*Please note the Love Shack is a pet-free space.

The love shack is private and separate yet we are nearby if you need anything at all. Consider us your silent concierge. You will only see us if you want to meet us.
We respect how important privacy is from the first moment you arrive at our cottages. Our unique self-check in allows you to have only as much contact with us as you need or prefer. There is no office to visit upon arrival and no forms to fill out.
Of course, if you need anything at all, we're right here to help with your comfort. Please note that we do not charge any cleaning fees or other hidden charges.
