Named for W. Somerset Maugham's novel based on the life of French painter Paul Gauguin (1848-1903), this inspired cottage is bright and colourful with a warm wood interior.
There is a lovely walk-on beach across the street, best accessed at Hamilton beach a few hundred meters away. Spring-fed Lyla Creek bubbles past the cottage, providing a zen-like meditative outdoor experience.
Tahitian figures skillfully rendered in the style of Gauguin by SaltSpring artist Jude Harper.
Experience the charm of the large bedroom featuring a super comfy queen-size bed. You’ll enjoy the view through the leaded glass door to the living room, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame a stunning panorama of Fulford Harbour from a spacious wrap-around deck.
